From Thee Top’s purpose is to tell stories that shoulda been told already in an environment that centers not only the art, but the artists and the audiences witnessing the art. We intentionally choose venues that serve the storytelling and our community.

Top Off
Coming in Fall 2027, Top Notch Endeavors will open a new bar and lounge space called Top Off in Chicago’s Northside. There will be comfortable chairs, space for dancing, a regular rotation of DJs and good music, special events, women’s sports on TV, soft lighting, and local art being showcased on the walls.
While the brick and mortar Top Off is under development, Top Off events are the core of this endeavor.
We are on a mission to create a third space that is pro-Black, queer, and always welcoming you home. Our events prioritize excellent music at millennial volumes, a robust cocktail program designed by Birdie, and flexible structures ranging from dance parties to kickbacks so there’s always something for everyone.
Top Off will be your spot to throw that ass in a circle with your inner circle.
